Maturation of the Adolescent Brain

Adolescence (age span 10-24 years) is a tumultuous time, full of changes and transformations. Adolescence is the developmental epoch during which children become adults - intellectually, physically, hormonally, and socially. The pubertal transition to adulthood involves both gonadal and behavioral maturation. The brain's neurocircuitry remains vulnerable to impulsive sex, food, and sleep habits. The maturation of the adolescent brain is also influenced by heredity, environment, and sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone), which play a crucial role in myelination."

PROTECTING OUR CHILDREN

 
The sexual exploitation of children has been happening for quite some time, but it seems to have only come into the light in the last decade. Let's look at ways that they have come after the children:
 
SIECUS = Sexual Information and Education Council of the US, which advocates for sex education by asserting that sexuality is a fundamental part of being human, one worthy of dignity and respect. Through advocacy, policy and coalition building, SIECUS advances sex education as a vehicle for social change - where all people receive sex education, are affirmed in their identities, and have power to make decisions about their own health, pleasure and wholeness. SIECUS partners with national, state, and local organizations to promote sexual education.
 
SEICUS was founded in 1964 by Dr. Mary Calderon along with others. From 1953-1964, she was the medical director at Planned Parenthood. Her second husband, Frank Calderone, served as the head of the Lower East Side District Health Center, and after serving as the first deputy health commissioner of New York City from 1943 to 1946, became a leading figure in the World Health Organization (WHO) during its formative years. So, we can see how the government and the WHO were intertwined even back then.
 
CRT = Critical Race Theory, as defined by Britannica encyclopedia, is the "intellectual and social movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed (culturally invented) category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour." Critical race theorists function "to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and non-whites, especially African Americans."
 
CRT was officially organized in 1989, though its origins go back to the 1960s and 1970s. Currently, 18 US states have banned the teaching of CRT in schools. And there are other US states that are moving bills to forbid the teaching of CRT. However, here in Canada, CRT is prevalent in our schools. Public educators are indoctrinating children in the school systems. Samuel Sey and Jordan Peterson speak to the dangers of CRT in schools.
 
DEI = Diversity, Equity & Inclusion is more like Conformity, Unfairness and Exclusion. The Aristotle Foundation for Public Policy published a recent article, referencing several studies that conclude "there is no evidence that DEI instruction leads to increased tolerance and harmony or to lasting behavioural change." But rather that diversity training is divisive, counterproductive and unnecessary.

 

Transgender Movement

 
Now let's look at the Transgender Movement, which relates to a person whose gender identity does not correspond with the sex registered for them at birth. Looking back at history, I suggest you research John Money, psychologist, sexologist and professor at Johns Hopkins University. He is known as the "Godfather of Trans Ideology". He spent his career promoting his theory of separating identity from biology if done early enough, in other words, that how a person felt took precedence over their anatomy and chromosomes. Although society is normalizing gender ideology, a person's sex is established at conception. Our DNA codes are found in our cells directing the proper function of the cells. Y chromosomes and X chromosomes impact these cells. It is a misconception to say you are the other sex. In addition, males and females are different in brain function, hormones, and body composition.
 
Some potential factors that contribute to gender confusion include childhood misperceptions, body dysmorphia, parents preferring the opposite sex-child, childhood sexual or physical abuse or trauma, personal safety reasons as think safer to be a boy rather than a girl, encouraged through social media and social influencers, internalized homophobia, self-hatred, gender non-conforming, coping mechanism, disconnection from reality. Transgender social influencers document their transition journey and make it sound positive. We know that children are very easy to persuade or convince - believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, etc. Children are bombarded with the push towards transitioning through school, friends, TV programs, commercials, billboards and social contagion. Children that identify as the other gender tend to receive more attention, validation, or status so they are encouraged and affirmed to pursue transgender surgeries. High-risk groups for gender confusion include children from foster homes, those who have been adopted, family history, trauma, as well as those who have psychiatric co-morbidities (e.g. anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism).
 
Children are being told that transitioning is the only solution. Children do not have the developmental capacity to comprehend the effects of transgender medical care and how it will impact them. Children look at transitioning like a fad. Parents are being told that puberty blockers are safe. Saying there is a medical consensus, and this is the best way to treat kids by giving them puberty blockers and hormones followed by gender reassignment surgery. Child sex change is harmful, immoral and misguided because the reality is that these medical procedures are permanent, irreversible, and have long-term side effects. In addition, there are health risks associated with puberty blockers and high doses of hormones.

 

Sex Reassignment Surgeries

 
Sex reassignment surgeries result in the mutilation or amputation of completely healthy and functioning body parts (e.g. breasts, uterus (hysterectomy), penis (penectomy). Some of the risks include: A study found that "gender-affirming surgeries" tripled in the US between 2016-2019. In the US, the military are performing sex reassignment surgery on active-duty service members using taxpayer dollars. According to a Polaris Market Research, US and Canada lead in the North American sex reassignment surgery (SRS) market. According to Grand View Research, the US SRS market will reach $5.0 billion by 2030. Proponents that support "gender-affirming surgeries" claim it will result in lower suicide risk or mental health amongst children. However, there is no data to support this claim. A 2022 UK study found that the suicide rate among minors seeking medical transition between 2010 and 2020 was 0.03%. In fact, Children who undergo sex reassignment surgery are at increased risk for mental health issues, including depression, anxiety and suicide.

 

Puberty Blockers

 
Let's look at Puberty blockers, which arrest the process of puberty or essentially overstimulate the pituitary gland to prevent it from sending signals to the ovaries or testes to start producing estrogen or testosterone. There was an excellent article (Mar. 17, 2024) called Puberty Blockers are Incredibly Dangerous Drugs, which discusses that "Lupron is one of the most dangerous drugs on the market due to the sheer volume of injuries patients report, how severe the injuries are and just how much many of them are suffering."

Gender Dysphoria

 
In November 2018, the American College of Pediatricians issued a position statement on gender dysphoria in children. "Gender dysphoria (GD) in children is a term used to describe a psychological condition in which a child experiences marked incongruence between his or her experienced gender and the gender associated with the child's biological sex. Twin studies demonstrate that GD is not an innate trait. Moreover, barring pre-pubertal affirmation and hormone intervention for GD, 80 percent to 95 percent of children with GD will accept the reality of their biological sex by late adolescence. The treatment of GD in childhood with hormones effectively amounts to mass experimentation on, and sterilization of, youth who are cognitively incapable of providing informed consent. There is a serious ethical problem with allowing irreversible, life-changing procedures to be performed on minors who are too young to give valid consent themselves; adolescents cannot understand the magnitude of such decisions. Ethics alone demands an end to the use of pubertal suppression with GnRH agonists, cross-sex hormones, and sex reassignment surgeries in children and adolescents. The American College of Pediatricians recommends an immediate cessation of these interventions, as well as an end to promoting gender ideology via school curricula and legislative policies. Healthcare, school curricula and legislation must remain anchored to physical reality. Scientific research should focus upon better understanding the psychological underpinnings of this disorder, optimal family and individual therapies, as well as delineating the differences among children who resolve with watchful waiting versus those who resolve with therapy and those who persist despite therapy."
 
I have a stepchild who was diagnosed with gender dysphoria in her mid-20s. He was born male but identified as female. After consultation with her psychiatrist, she was encouraged to pursue sex reassignment surgery at age 28, which was paid for by the Province of Ontario. She will be on hormones for the rest of her life. As we no longer have a relationship, due to a differing of opinions on the world, we are unaware of any medical complications or psychological damage because of transitioning.
 
There are a large group of what are called "de-transitioners". Unfortunately, medical and psychological support is non-existent. In fact, many are being offered MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying). Genspect launched the Beyond Transition program to assist Detransitioners in accessing care.
 
We have some work to do here in Canada still regarding gender identity as British Columbia's NDP government recently passed new legislation that makes it illegal to demonstrate within 20 metres of school grounds to block gender identity curriculum protests. (True North - April 12, 2024). However, I would like to bring your attention to some recent push back.

 

Recent News

 
Minors in European countries (including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, France and Finland) are banned from getting gender affirming care and have restricted access to puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones.
 
New Zealand outlawed conversion therapy in February 2022.

January

Rebel News (Jan. 22, 2024): Interview with New Brunswick Premier Higgs, who affirmed parental rights was a priority for his government.
 
X/twitter (Jan. 31, 2024): Premier Danielle Smith announced new policies, including a ban on top surgeries (e.g., breast removal), puberty blockers and hormone treatments for children under 16, except those who already began therapy.

February

National Post (Feb. 17, 2024) article from a survey of more than 2,000 Canadians that: "Nearly half of Canadians believe gender reassignment surgery for minors should be prohibited and support bans on hormone prescriptions for children." Although, I think if people understood the repercussions that this number would be much higher.
 
Edmonton Journal (Feb. 19, 2024) article noting that Smith is looking to see what European countries are doing with their trans policies.
 
Daily Wire (Feb. 20, 2024) Joe Rogan interviewed Dr. Phil, who spoke about the dangers of transgender surgeries.
 
True North (Feb. 24, 2024): "Canadian surgeon warns of grim scenarios when transgender operations go wrong". The segment includes a video with Dr. Alex Laungani speaking about the complications with the surgeries.

March

Radio-Canada (Mar. 1, 2024): journalist Pasquale Turbide conducted an undercover investigation in January by sending a 14-year-old actress, posing as transgender, into a private gender clinic. It took nine minutes of consultation to get a prescription for testosterone. It uncovered that Quebec clinics were fast-tracking teens into gender transition by using puberty blockers. It further found that girls were given medications without medical referrals or parental consent. In a March 3rd interview, the Radio-Canada journalist defends her investigative report despite backlash.
 
Environmental Progress (Mar. 4, 2024): published The WPATH Files, which contains leaked files between clinicians, who are members of WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health), which revealed widespread medical malpractice on children and vulnerable adults at global transgender healthcare authority. WPATH is an organization which supposedly sets out the highest standard of care for people who identify as transsexual, transgender and gender-nonconforming, including minors. The medical care is driven by ideology pushing affirmative care rather than the best interests of the child.
 
Florida Wins Lawsuit Against Parental Rights in Education Act (Mar. 11, 2024) In 2022, Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill to keep radical gender and sexual ideology out of the classrooms of public-school children in kindergarten through third grade called the Parental Rights in Education Act. Activists challenged the law. The case was settled in March 2024, the law remains in effect.
 
BBC (Mar. 12, 2024): National Health Service England banned puberty suppressing hormones for children under 16 concluding that there was not enough evidence to support the safety or clinical effectiveness. The UK government announced its intention to ban "genital reconstructive surgery" for all youth under age 18. The only children's sex-change clinic in England and Wales permanently closed. Following this ban, The Epoch Times asked the health ministries of Quebec, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories and were told they will NOT consider a ban. The other provinces had not responded at the time of the article.
 
Canadian Medical Association (Mar. 13, 2024) and 12 presidents of provincial medical associations put out a press release stating it is "deeply concerned about any government proposal that would restrict access to evidence-based medical care for patients, including for the transgender population. Canadians have the right to make personal choices about their health with the support of their families, the guidance of physicians working with other regulated health professionals and free from ideological intrusion." This thinking is ironic seeing as you didn't have a choice to make personal decisions about your health during COVID.
 
Fox (Mar. 21, 2014) Business: Planet Fitness' valuation dropped by $400M after revoking an Alaska woman's membership for snapping photos of a transgender woman (biological male) in women's locker room. Planet Fitness recent commercial.
 
LifeSite News (Mar. 14, 2024): A new law in Wyoming states educators can no longer teach children about sexual orientation or gender identity without parental consent nor withhold from parents, signs that their child is struggling with gender confusion.
 
Forbes (Mar. 25, 2024): Former Levi President Jennifer Sey launched an athletic clothing brand XX-XY Athletics to help protect women and girls from being forced to compete and share locker rooms with transgender athletes.

April

Rebel News (Apr. 1, 2024): Elon Musk's X sues Australian government in free speech battle after E-Safety Commissioner ordered an offensive post to be removed from the platform or X would face an $800,000 AUD fine. Chris Elston (Billboard Chris) criticized that trans Teddy Cook was appointed by the World Health Organization to serve as an expert on transgender issues.
 
 

Modernity (April 3, 2024) published an article titled: 15 Year Study: Vast Majority of Children Grow out of Gender Confusion. The Netherlands study "concluded that most children who experience confusion regarding their gender identity grow out of it and go on to feel content with their lives as men and women."
 
Sky News (April 5, 2024): J.K. Rowling, author of Harry Potter, is criticized after posting controversial tweets about transgender people. She has questioned whether more young people have come out as transgender in recent years as the result of a "contagion" fueled by social media and contended that trans girls and women pose a sexual violence threat to cisgender women in restrooms, changing rooms and prisons. J.K. Rowling is speaking despite Scotland's new Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act, which criminalizes threatening or abusive transphobic behavior (among other forms of targeted harassment), that went into effect on April 1st.
 
Vatican (April 8, 2024): Press Pope Francis issued a landmark statement called "Infinite Dignity", where the Church highlights the definite critical issues present in gender theory and that "sex change" surgery is a threat to human dignity.
 
Guardian (April 10, 2024): Gender medicine 'built on shaky foundations', Dr. Hilary Cass review of international research into puberty blockers for NHS England finds. Analysis finds most research underpinning clinical guidelines, hormone treatments and puberty blockers to be low quality. The final report was published.
 
LifeSite News (April 11, 2024): Idaho Gov. Brad Little signed into law two bills to directly counter transgender ideology within the state. HB 538 prohibits compulsory so-called "gender language," protecting government employees and public-school teachers, in particular, from any adverse actions for using pronouns of a person in accord with the person's biological sex. HB-421 defines mother, female, girl, father, male & boy, and also states:
LifeSite News (April 11, 2024): Alberta backs Saskatchewan in court battle defending parental consent before a child's name or pronoun is changed in schools, and before classroom discussions about gender identity and other sensitive subjects.
 
True North (April 12, 2024): Premier Danielle Smith is keeping an eye on what's happening internationally and nationwide with issues arising with transgender individuals using changerooms and for transgender individuals who are imprisoned.
 
New York Post (April 16, 2024): Detransitioners state they are "evidence for a major study in the Netherlands which found that what psychiatrists refer to as "gender dysphoria" - a desire to be the opposite sex - diminishes significantly between adolescence and early adulthood."
 
Empire Advance (April 18, 2024): Virden Collegiate Institute (Manitoba) issued an apology to parents after concerns were raised about the graphic "sex education" kits some boys were sent home with including condoms, a wooden phallus, and a pornographic flipbooks animating gay sex by the Sexuality Education Resource Centre (SERC) and Public Health.
 
BBC (April 18, 2024): Scotland NHS paused puberty blockers to children under-18 referred by gender clinic.
 
National Post (April 19, 2024): "How 'social contagion' could be driving some youth to identify as transgender. The U.K.'s Cass report states "social factors and online influencers may be partly behind a surge in biological girls referred to gender clinics."
 
24 US states have enacted laws/policies limiting youth access to gender affirming care (GAC). 38% of trans youth (ages 13-17) live in a state with a laws/policies limiting their access to GAC. 16 states are facing lawsuits challenging their laws/policies limiting youth access to GAC. 22 states impose professional or legal penalties on health care practitioners providing minors with GAC.

 

Examples of Transgender and Sports

 
We also have transgender men participating in women's or girls' sports claiming that they identify as women or girls. Not only does this create an unfair advantage because these transgender men are stronger, but it is a matter of safety from potential sexual misconduct and injury. For example, Nicholas Cepeda (who now goes by Melody Wiseheart) is a 50-year-old transgender male that identifies as a 13-year-old girl and is allowed to compete in the girl's swim competitions and change in their locker room. Allowing older transgender men to change in the girls' locker room is an indictable offence under the criminal code as it is an indecent act in a public place.
 
Fox Business (Dec. 19, 2023): NCAA volleyball player Macy Petty spoke out on the issue of transgender athletes participating in women's sports, including stolen opportunities for scholarships as well as physical harm from women who face off these competitors with biological advantages. Canadian Powerlifter April Hutchinson has also spoken out about the unfair advantage.
 
Vigilant News (Mar. 15, 2024): former University of Kentucky Wildcats swimmer Riley Gaines and 15 other female athletes sue the NCAA alleging violations arising from its insertion of man-to-woman transgender athletes into women's competition. The lawsuit was organized by the Independent Council on Women's Sports, a group that exists to "promote and protect women's sports." The plaintiffs, who also include track, tennis and volleyball athletes, are demanding that the NCAA make rule changes to bar biological males from women's competition, revoke awards previously given to men in women's competitions, and also pay "damages for pain and suffering, mental and emotional distress, suffering and anxiety, expense costs and other damages due to defendants' wrongful conduct."
 
National Review (April 8, 2024): the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the governing body for mostly small colleges, announced a policy that prohibits transgender-identifying men from competing in women's sports. According to the NAIA Transgender Participation Policy, all athletes may participate in NAIA-sponsored male sports but only athletes whose biological sex assigned at birth is female and who have not begun hormone therapy will be allowed to participate in women's sports. A student who has begun hormone therapy may participate in activities such as workouts, practices and team activities, but not in interscholastic competition. The NAIA Transgender Participation Policy becomes effective August 1, 2024.
 
Rebel News (April 23, 2024): We still have a way to go in Canada. As Seneca College just recently awarded Franz Lagardas, "a biological male, the Angela James Scholarship, sparking debate over transgender inclusion in sports. Critics question the scholarship's alignment with traditional gender norms, given Lagardas' male anatomy and past participation on a male team."
 
At least 24 US states have laws barring transgender women and girls from competing in certain women's or girls' sports competitions.

 

Summary

 
Parents are concerned about the erosion of rights on this issue when it comes to their children. Children are bypassing their parents and seeking assistance from local transgender activists, community organizations or schools who encourage them to pursue a sex-change. Some schools have a policy not to tell the parents if the children identify as the other gender or changed their pronouns at school. Not only are teachers not qualified to make determinations whether a child requires psychological aid, but they are teaching children deception and to lie to their parents. Teachers claim they are doing this for the privacy of the child and to protect them from harm from their parents if they come out to their parents. And in some cases, children can be removed from the home if a parent doesn't affirm their child's new identity.
 
Canada is looking to pass the Online Harms Act claiming it is necessary to protect children from sexual exploitation. We know that this is not the true goal. Individuals can be fined or given a life sentence for things they say or said or potential things they will say or said. It will be a police state to control you when they create the new Digital Safety Commission. Do you want to give more power to government to control your freedom of speech and expression? Or do you want to maintain the right to protect your children?
 
You might ask what's the point in implementing policies such as CRT, DEI, SOGI. It is the destruction of families and their values. It is an attack on masculinity, to make men weak. It is to normalize pedophilia. It is to sterilize future generations. Is it to cause division amongst the masses as we are weak as few but strong as many. We must continue to remind ourselves that we are more powerful than them when we work together to raise the consciousness. We must have compassion for others, who have been indoctrinated. Do not remain a victim to their plan. Say no to their agenda and do your part to affect change by creating a new world for our future and the future of our youth!
 
Men and women need to stand up and be the warriors to protect our children. So, what can you do?
